## What happened

According to Have I Been Pwned, in May 2026 an attacker claimed to have gained access to all systems belonging to Atlas Menu, a cheat service for the games GTA V and CS2. The attacker then published the service's database to a public GitHub repository, making the data freely accessible.

## What was exposed

The breach exposed email addresses, usernames, IP addresses, support ticket contents, and passwords stored as bcrypt hashes. Because bcrypt is a strong hashing algorithm, passwords are not immediately readable, but they remain at risk from offline cracking attempts.

## Who is affected

Approximately 64,000 unique account holders of the Atlas Menu service are affected. These are individuals who used the cheat service for GTA V or CS2.

## What to do now

If you had an Atlas Menu account, change your password on that service immediately. More importantly, if you reused that password on any other site, update those passwords as well. Use a unique, strong password for each account. Be alert for phishing attempts, as attackers now have access to your email address and support ticket history, which could be used to craft convincing messages.
