What happened

According to Have I Been Pwned, the European Dragonica private server Dragonica Lunaris experienced a data breach in December 2025. The service operator confirmed the incident and reported that the vulnerability has since been resolved.

What was exposed

Reported by HIBP, the breach exposed email addresses, usernames, dates of birth, bcrypt-hashed passwords, names, and spoken language preferences. Passwords were stored as bcrypt hashes, which provides some protection, but they should still be considered compromised.

Who is affected

Approximately 126,000 registered accounts on the Dragonica Lunaris platform were affected. These are players who had created accounts on this European private game server.

What to do now

If you had an account on Dragonica Lunaris, change your password there immediately. If you reused that password on any other service, update those passwords as well. Use a unique, strong password for each account. Consider enabling two-factor authentication wherever it is available. Be alert to phishing attempts that may use your name or email address obtained in this breach.
